Rick Curcio
Associate

Rick CurcioRick Curcio is a consultant and coach specializing in corporate change initiatives, performance management and executive coaching. He has over 30 years of experience in Human Resources with an emphasis on the design and implementation of change and performance management systems including executive and management development and, team building and conflict management interventions.

Rick has worked on consulting assignments in corporate business environments in diverse industries, including Financial Services, Health Care, Entertainment/Media, Manufacturing and Publishing.

Rick was previously a Vice President with Bankers Trust Company where he held a variety of Human Resource and Training and Development positions over a period of 11 years. At Bankers Trust Company, Rick worked as an internal consultant to senior managers on several major organizational/cultural change assignments, both in the US and abroad. These assignments included developing infrastructure design to support business strategies, creating transition plans, conducting job redesign efforts, coaching executives and, implementing training and development activities to ensure effective implementation of change initiatives. As a Senior Organization Development professional at Con Edison for 5 years, he consulted to executive level managers on a variety of efforts to improve organizational effectiveness.

The Center for Creative Leadership has certified Rick to use Benchmarks® – an intensive 360° feedback instrument and development approach – with high potential middle managers and senior executives as part of an on-the-job personal coaching process.

Rick presented the results of a telecommuting pilot project at a national meeting of the Organizational Development Network. He was also a lecturer at the Center for Management Development and Organization Research of Baruch College, CUNY.

Rick earned his BBA in Marketing from Iona College, New Rochelle, N.Y., and his MBA in Organizational Behavior from the John G. Hagan School of Business at Iona College. He has also successfully completed the advanced program in Organization Development and Human Resource Management sponsored jointly by Columbia University and the University of Michigan. Rick served in the United States Coast Guard.
