Through your coaching, you helped me look at the bigger picture. The 360 feedback was probably the most beneficial tool. It forced me to look in the mirror and either accept who I was as a manager and try to prepare people for my style, or in most cases, change my management style to the benefit of my direct reports and myself.
As a result, I am more involved in our company on an Executive level; reaching out to those I did not have much interaction with in the past. I am building relationships, reinforcing the why’s in my direction, and asking direct reports to repeat initiatives in their own words to make sure they understand.
