Cathy Alfandre brings over 15 years of professional experience in the private and public sectors to her consulting and coaching. Across a wide variety of industries (including banking, professional services, retail, insurance, healthcare, and education), she has managed large-scale projects in the areas of organizational change and talent development. Based on her work as a senior-level consultant for Hewitt Associates, she has particular expertise in human resources strategy and measurement, performance management, recruiting and selection, and organizational restructuring. Her collaborative consulting reflects a commitment to helping organizations achieve—and build employee engagement in—their strategic goals.

Cathy’s coaching work specializes in supporting professionals through career growth and transition. Her broad spectrum of services includes extensive assessment of goals and needs, discovery of interests and talents, career and job exploration, and development of marketing skills and materials.

Cathy’s background includes several years in state government service, where she administered a public-private program to develop total quality management in corporate, government, education, and healthcare organizations. During this time, she authored materials to introduce quality principles and guide organizational self-assessment. Key roles that she has played over the course of her career include team leadership, people management and mentoring, recruiting, writing, and group facilitation.

Cathy earned an undergraduate degree from Yale University and a joint MBA/Master of Industrial Relations degree from Cornell University. She is currently a member of the Career Masters Institute, the International Coach Federation, and the Connecticut Entrepreneurial Women’s Network.
